For Judges, Mediators, Attorneys, Family Law Coordinators, Court Administrators and Court Investigators

Parents who have had issues with mental health, domestic violence, child abuse, or substance abuse are often ordered into supervised visitation services.

Visitation Monitors ensure the safety of children and provide non-biased, accurate documentation for each visit.

Friends & Family
Friends and family members of either parent are sometimes allowed to supervise the visits.  This can often result in biased opinions and/or further conflict.

Professional Monitors
Professional providers are not related to either parent, have no emotional investment in the outcome, and are paid for providing non-biased supervised visitation services.

State or County Standards
Has your state or county been given the responsibility of establishing standards or guidelines for Supervised Visitation Monitors?
